State Delegate District 4 New Map
communities). It’s basically a donut around Frederick city. We will be a 3 delegate district which I strongly believes hurts the constituents, but I know I will work my butt off for you all when I am in Annapolis. We are the Blue donut on the map that is district 4 in the attached picture. I hope to be one of your 3 delegates representing you in Annapolis. Please reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting even more of you. This just means I will be working that much harder and be able to work for even that many more people. I am not stranger to hard work. I have been working hard on my own since I was 16. https://mdcourts.gov/data/opinions/coa/2022/21a21m.pdf
WE HAVE SIGNS OF ALL SIZES!!!!!!!!!
I have plenty of signs if you would like one please reach out to me. I have the typical yard signs as well as larger 2×4 and 4×4 signs. If you have a place of high visibility and would like a larger sign or even a yard sign please let me know and I will deliver them. I am running this campaign as a true conservative and doing most of my work on my own. The first 2 day I got the larger signs I was able to put 22 up. I have several more needing homes. Help me get the word out about our campaign!!!!!!!!!
Speaking up in Support of our Farmers
Speaking up today in support of our farmers earlier today at the Farmers county forum. I was astonished at some of the things I heard today about regulations and issues they are having with this current county counsel. I heard of it taking months or even years to get permits to build barns etc on their farms. I also heard of the idea of mandatory solar panels being placed on their farm lands which burns their good soil. There was one common theme that I heard and that was big government thinks they know better.
Heath Barnes Campaign Kick-Off Speech
Here is my speech from my campaign kickoff a few weeks ago. Thank you Kira Wynne for videoing this and making it available. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
Campaign Kick-Off Success
There are very few times in my life that I am at a loss for words, but tonight is one of them. I am truly humbled by the showing of support that I received tonight. I never would have imagined that 77 people would show up to support me at my kick-off event in our little town of Woodsboro, and on a Wednesday night no less.
Big Decision Not Made Lightly
After careful consideration I have made the decision to run for Maryland State Delegate in district 4. There are several factors that played into my decision such as the fact that two of our three current delegates are running for different offices which leaves vacancies in our district. In addition, we need a strong voice in Annapolis, and I can be that voice for our municipalities in Frederick and Carroll Counties that I would represent.
