Our veterans and their families are often overlooked. I am the grandson of 2 American veterans. One grandfather served in Vietnam, and one was stationed for many years in South Korea. The welfare of our veterans is near and dear to me. The men and women, who have put their lives on the line for us, should have more resources available when they return home or leave the service.

An issue I am very invested in is our first responders and law enforcement- I am a firm supporter of our first responders and Law Enforcement. I am 100% against defunding our men and women in Blue. I have been and will continue to be a voice and back them.

Governor O’Malley raised taxes severely. This has been a disaster for the people of Maryland. As a legislator in Annapolis, I will fight to roll these taxes back. Your hard-earned money belongs in your own pocket, not in the coffers of political wastrels.

I support education and school choice. Families should be able to choose the education that serves their children best. They should be able to spend the money state and local governments provide for education on the school of their choice. I also am in full support of a parental bill of rights to have a voice in what their children are taught.

Making Maryland a better place for Retirees- Maryland was recently ranked #50 out of 50 states to retire in. That is unacceptable to me. Children should not have to grow up without their grandparents nearby, because they cannot afford to retire and live in the state that they have spent their entire lives working, living, and raising a family in.

Coming from a family of beef and dairy farmers I know firsthand how hard these men and women work to feed America. I also know that it is not always a lucrative profession. When the Government continues to overregulate them it not only affects them, but it affects the public on the prices that must be paid.

I am a firm believer that small businesses are the backbone of our country. I will support small businesses from Government overreach. We all saw firsthand with the lockdowns of 2020 how many small businesses did not survive, yet large businesses made record profits. This is unacceptable. I will be a strong advocate for small businesses in Maryland.

I am a firm believer that The Second Amendment guarantees Americans the fundamental right “to keep and bear arms”.

I believe in limited government as required by our federal and state constitutions. The federal government, the states, and local governments often overreached their limited, legitimate powers during the pandemic, and they continue to do so now. Marylanders deserve the free exercise of their many and broad rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness.
